Bellis Wedding 9/24/16

I must admit I was a tad nervous for this one as I had only spoken with the bride over the phone and not in person since she lived many miles away and had never been to this venue before. As with every wedding I do, I always hope the couple will love their photos, that their day goes beautiful for them, that I'm able to get all the shots they requested, and just overall hoping that all goes well when meeting everyone for the first time.
I'm sure most photographers worry that their subjects are going to be too quiet and camera shy or maybe just uncooperative and not want to be photographed. Let me tell you, this entire group eased my fears pretty quickly as soon as I started to take the first shots. What an amazing group of people and not just easy to work with, but nailed it! I actually had a blast shooting this wedding the entire day to the early morning hours when I left the reception. Such a fun couple and their wedding party, not to mention a simply gorgeous wedding. I hope I was able to do it justice!

Wimsett Wedding 5-28-16

I had the honor to also photograph this fun couple's engagement session as well and whenever I see them together, they just look so happy and so in love. I was honored to be able to get to photograph their big day and the location they chose for photos before was just absolutely gorgeous. Even the rain stopped for us long enough to get some amazing shots in.

Hutchins Wedding 6/4/16

I love outdoor weddings, not sure why they're my favorite to do but I absolutely just love them and this one was no exception! The sweetest most laid back couple and the prettiest location made for such a beautiful day. They were total joy to photograph and were such troopers from standing in the creek bed, to trying to avoid the snake nearby as we worked. I know I've mentioned before, but I really love First Looks. It's so sweet to see the groom's face when he turns around and catches a glimpse of his soon to be wife for the first time. Such a face of love and pride and happiness on both of them and it is such an honor to get to capture that.

I don't think there was a dry eye in the room, including my own, during the mother son dance. Such a beautiful moment that I will never forget.

Boone Wedding - 5/21/16

What a sweet couple to work with and everyone was just so full of fun and life. A bit worried it would rain all day but we got lucky and were able to sneak a few quick shots outside
I also really love doing First Looks. Just to stand back and watch a couple see each other for the first time on their wedding day, with no one else around, without the nervousness of being up in front of everyone and just that intimate private moment that only they share, is really something special and I was lucky to get to take part in their beautiful day.

 

One of the sweetest mother/son dances. She was praying thanking God while dancing with her son and crying as they danced. I may have even shed a few tears myself watching them.

Boggs Wedding 5-14-2016

I love photographing weddings, seeing couples so much in love, making memories of their big day for them. This was such a gorgeous setting for a wedding and the weather was perfect. A little windy at the start but the sun came out for their beautiful ceremony. I had the privilege of getting to meet this couple for their engagement photos and were are such a sweet amazing couple to work with. Glad I got to be a part of their big day!
